MANAGEMENT COMMITMENT

MANAGEMENT COMMITMENT TO GGL CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

1) Commitment by the Management

DAYA SYNERGY BORNEO SDN BHD is committed to procuring products and services that ensure the materials are sourced from legal and well-managed sources that have been certified to credible certification standards and or are form post-consumer recycled materials. By means of this declaration, top level management is showing its commitments to ensure all requirements from the following standards and related normative documents are met:
     i. GGLS1 - Chain of custody criteria
     ii. GGLS4 - Transaction certificate
Upon request a copy of this statement will be made available to third parties.

2) Environmental Responsibility
We are committed to procuring products that have been certified against an internationally recognized standard that in line with METI’S requirements for the responsible sourcing of biomass.


3) Social Responsibility
We are committed to avoid engaging in or benefitting from controversial business practices, such as, but no limited to:
      i. Any form of forced labour, including bonded labour, forced prison labour, slavery, servitude, or human trafficking.
     ii. The use of child labour. The minimum age for employment shall not be less than the age of completion of compulsory schooling and,           in any case, shall not be less than 15 years.
     iii. Discrimination based on race, colour, sec, language, religion, political or other opinion, caste, national or social origin, property,                   birth, union affiliation, sexual orientation, health status, family responsibilities, age, and disability or another distinguishing                           characteristic.
     iv. Unsafe or unhealthy working environments, including but not limited to risk form fire, noise, accidents, and toxic substances.                       Adequate health and safety policies and procedures must be established and followed by all companies in our supply chains.
     v. Any form of bribery and corruption.
If we become aware that any of these issues are relevant in our organization or any of our suppliers, we
are committed to taking relevant steps to mitigate any such situation.

4) Health and Safety
We are committed to ensure that all necessary and safety measure are taken. Through this measure we provide a safe and healthy environment for our staff to operate and work in.

5) Quality Management
We will ensure that all relevant staff is trained a competent in carrying out their responsibility as identified in the relevant GGL manuals. All necessary resources are made available to support the standards and certification requirements including carrying out annual internal audits. The annual audits will be reviewed by management and proposed follow-up will be supported.


6) Legality
We are committed to sourcing only material that has been produced, processed, and traded in compliance with applicable legislation in the country where the material originates from. We also refer to the legislation and regulations relating the use of biomass as feedstock to produce electricity and/ or heat in Japan, stipulated by the relevant and responsible Japanese authorities.
